Happy 1st Birthday A & G!!! Puyallup Toddler Photography

This morning I had so much fun with the S family! We met up at Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup for some family photos as well as some yummy cake smashing!!! It was quite tricky to get photos with both toddlers even looking toward the camera, let alone smiling, but I think we got some great shots (maybe I'll have to bust out the monkey noises and jumping up and down more often =) ).
These twins turn one on Monday, and they got some good practice in for some cake smashing! Miss A dove right in, albeit rather delicately, while Mr. G took his time warming up to the idea. Both of them made us all proud in the end, and ended up with cake in their ears, hair and of course, their bums =) Good job, kiddos!
Have a wonderful first birthday A & G!!11

Introducing Newborn J: Puyallup Newborn Photography

Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure to meet and photograph newborn J and his Mom & Dad. I love that my job allows me to meet so many tiny bundles of cuteness, and little J did not disappoint! He even decided that since I am having my own little man in 17 weeks, that he would get me used to the joys of little boys early (I think he peed 3 times in 30 minutes!). And let me tell you, that kid has a powerful aim! =) Luckily I had already given his parents the spiel about how all the backdrops are completely washable, and that I fully expect them to be initiated at least once during the shoot.
I think we were able to get some beautiful shots before J decided he had had enough and wanted to get a good sleep (one in which people weren't moving him into different positions) before his next feeding. And check out Mom, doesn't she look absolutely great for having a baby only 8 days before?

Meet the T Family: Seattle Family Photography

Yesterday I met the T's at one of my favorite parks in Seattle, the UW arboretum. This beautiful family was up for practically anything, including hanging in a tree like monkeys =) Older sis E was a total natural for the camera, and at one point even got behind the lens to take a picture of Mom! Younger sis R was excited for photos at first, but quickly lost interest in sitting still and smiling =) Can't say that I blame her, though, when there are some great places to run around! Or cell phones to dig out of Mom's purse =)
The weather was beautiful, and I think we were able to capture some really great shots!

Meet the K Twins: Seattle Toddler Photography

After my Saturday morning session with the W family, I got to spend the afternoon with the K twins! Last time I saw these cuties they were less than two weeks old and we stuffed them in Christmas stockings for newborn photos! Now they are sitting up and preparing to be mobile! R & A are such happy babies, and totally rocked the camera the whole session!

Meet theW Family: Puyallup Family Photography

On Saturday I met up with the W family at Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma for a family photo shoot. Little Miss L was so excited to see the ducks and to run around, she wanted nothing to do with the sitting still for photos business =) Regardless, I think we were able to catch some great family photos! And Mom and Dad were able to get a few photos as a couple while L busied herself running around!

Introducing Baby M: Puyallup Newborn Photography

Yesterday I had the pleasure to photograph the W family! Mom surprised Dad with a photo session for his birthday and Father's Day, and they loaded up the whole family (including the proud big sis, Cocoa the dog =) )to visit me at my home studio. Baby M is four weeks old, and so full of cuteness! She's such a content baby, and hardly cried even when we moved her into many different poses. After spending a few hours with this family, I could tell that this child is going to grow up with so much love (even from Cocoa!).
