Meet the W Family: Puyallup Family Photography

As I've said before, one of the most rewarding aspects of being a photographer is the repeat customers. I love when I get to meet newborn babies, and then those same babies come back months later and they are so big! Such was the case with Saturday's family photo session. I met the W family six months ago when little miss M was a tiny newbie. Now she's a very happy six month old, full of smiles and special noises =)

Meet the S Family: Tacoma Family Photography

I have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, including good friends like the S family! Which is why I was so happy to photograph them the day after Thanksgiving! The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Friday, and we met up at Pt Defiance in Tacoma. We hung out and got some great shots, and everyone was full of smiles (of course, that may be because they were laughing at my duck waddle impressions).

Meet the M's: Puyallup Family Photography

Just got back from my morning session the with M family! The plan was to start at Bradley Lake Park for some family photos then move into my home studio for more newborn pics of M and some more with the girls. I think we got some pretty good shots due to the fact that we ran out of suckers and well, blanket-head-camera-chick is only funny for a few seconds, let's face it. Here are some sneak peaks:

Introducing Little Man A: Seattle Newborn Photography

This morning I met handsome little man A and the rest of his wonderful family! We spent a few hours together, and in between tiny bouts of being fussy and needing some food breaks I think we got some amazing shots.
We didn't get to all of the props that Mom and Dad had picked out, and of course, my luck with the weather did not hold out today, and the rain kept us totally indoors. Luckily I get to do two more sessions with gorgeous baby A and his family, so hopefully we'll fit the rest of the props in there sometime!
Here are some teasers from this afternoon:

Meet the P Family: Tacoma Family Photography

Yesterday I really lucked out with the weather. An hour before I was supposed to meet the P family for photographs at Pt Defiance, it was pouring. Fortunately the weather changed and we were able to get some really great family photos before Dad has to deploy.
I love doing family photos at parks, because you really get to see kids be themselves. This afternoon we had dresses with rain boots, scrunched noses, running around playing chase, and lollipop wars (in which the end result was half of one lollipop on the ground).
Here are some of the teasers from that session:
